Zedd has announced that he will be joining Linkin Park to perform a song with them at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 27 in honor of Chester Bennington, the band’s lead singer, who died by suicide on July 20.
The superstar DJ and producer will not be on the decks as would be expected, however — as he’ll be performing on the drums instead. He will be joined on the concert bill by several other artists, who have yet to be announced.
Linkin Park plans to donate their performance fees to Music for Relief’s One More Light Fund, which the band set up following Bennington’s death.
Tickets to the event can be purchased here.
