Zedd had a big year in 2017. His first album Clarity turned five, and he set high bars with mega-hit “Stay” featuring Alessia Cara, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated summer radio.
He has no intentions of slowing down in 2018, and he proves it with a huge co-sign from his Las Vegas family at Hakkasan, who have signed a deal with the German-Russian producer by extending his residency for three years, through 2020.
“Vegas has become like a second home for me and it’s always great to get to play for my fans there,” Zedd is quoted in a press release. “The crowds bring such great energy every time and I’m excited to continue to be a part of the Hakkasan family.”
The superstar producer and DJ joined the Hakkasan family in 2017, and his residency extension insures he’ll be a mainstay of the Las Vegas Strip, with regular appearances at Hakkasan Nightclub and Wet Republic at MGM Grand, as well as Omnia Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.
“Zedd has been a fantastic addition to our artist roster, and we’re excited to continue our partnership with this multi-year residency extension,” James Algate, Vice President of Entertainment for Hakkasan Group, is quoted in a press release. “Every time he takes the stage, he provides fans with an energetic and dynamic experience, which is exactly what we set out to achieve through all of our venues.”
