You’re still stuck singing “The Middle,” but Zedd is moving onto the next one. He just released “Happy Now,” featuring Alabama-bred singer-songwriter Elley Duhé. The pair debuted the song together during his massive Zedd in the Park event in Los Angeles earlier this month. Duhé joined the producer on stage to belt the pop-ballad, and fans reaction was pretty favorable.
“My heart is so full,” the rising vocalist commented on twitter, though she gives a sultry performance in the official lyric video. It’s a beautiful song full of regrets and the heavy stride of someone who trudges forward while stealing looks back. Zedd’s signature robotic voice chimes in at the tail end of the tune.
“Happy Now” is slated to be shared by Zane Lowe as the World Record of the day on his Apple Music program. Dive deep into the moods of “Happy Now” with the official lyric video at 1p.m EST.
