As we all get settled into the new year, it’s not too late to still look back on how 2017 treated you. Zedd has done just that, posting a year-in-review video yesterday (Jan. 9) highlighting some of his best moments of last year.
The Russian-German producer tweeted, “Happy belated new year. Here’s a little 2017 recap from my side.” The accompanying video, directed by Yoder Productions, shows a montage of Zedd’s many performances from the last year, featuring his huge stage set. Zedd narrates as the video goes on, first mentioning that it was one of the best years of his life — but it came with some challenges.
“Professionally and personally, 2017 was an amazing year for me. I’ve played some of the biggest shows of my life, and released some of the biggest songs of my career,” he said. “But I’ve also experienced a lot of challenges along the way, from our stage production not fitting into certain venues, to singers jumping off songs at the last second.” He went on to preach that staying positive is one of the most important things you can do, in the good and the bad.
Zedd will head off on the Asian leg of his Echo Tour — with “Starving” collaborator Grey supporting — in March. He is also set to perform at Shaun White’s 2018 Air + Style festival at Exposition Park at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
