The wait is over: Years & Years have dropped Palo Santo, the British synth-pop band’s second studio album
The new set features previously released tracks “All for You,” “Karma” and “If You’re Over Me” and tells the story of a dystopian future where humans are the minority to androids.
“It came from loads of different ideas of what Years and Years is about and what I am about,” explains frontman Olly Alexander. “I felt like creating that space and playing around in there would be a good thing to do. It has all my favorite things combined: sci-fi, spiritualism, performance and identity.”
Palo Santo is the followup to 2015’s Communion. Years & Years’ global tour continues tonight at Ruisrock in Turku, Finland. Stream Palo Santo in full below.
