Veteran rapper Xzibit has established his own label, Open Bar Entertainment, in partnership with Koch Records. His new album, “Full Circle,” is due Sept. 19 and will be preceded by the single “Concentrate.” Additional details have yet to be announced.
Xzibit was previously signed to RCA and Columbia, the latter of which issued his most recent studio album, 2004’s “Weapons of Mass Destruction.” That set debuted at No. 11 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart.
The artist, who has enjoyed an unexpected side career as the host of MTV’s “Pimp My Ride,” will appear in the upcoming film “Gridiron Gang” with pro wrestler-turned-actor The Rock in September.
