X JAPAN‘s Yoshiki has been tapped to join Sarah Brightman on select dates of her HYMN World Tour.
The soprano songstress and classically trained visual-kei rocker have a collaboration track on Brightman’s latest album, HYMN, called “Miracle,” which was released worldwide as a single — including a remix version — this November. The Yoshiki-penned track hit top 10 on classical charts in 15 countries and has garnered high praise around the globe.
Yoshiki is set to make an appearance at three of Brighman’s U.S. dates, including concerts at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, The Masonic in San Francisco and the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, known for hosting the Oscars, as well as two shows at Yokohama Arena in Japan.
This won’t be the first time the two have shared the same stage, as Brightman joined Yoshiki on his YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2018 concert as a special guest in November. Backed by an orchestra, the occasion marked the first time the pair performed their soaring and poignant collaboration live in Japan.
