Acclaimed singer-songwriter Wynter Gordon will release the second installment of her four-part “Human Condition” EP series next month, Billboard’s The Juice can reveal exclusively. “Sanguine” will be issued for free on Gordon’s official site on Jan. 15, 2013.

“Sanguine” follows Gordon’s “Doleo” EP, which kicked off the ambitious “Human Condition” series last July. For Gordon, whose past work includes the club hit “Dirty Talk” and a feature on Flo Rida‘s single “Sugar,” the self-released “Human Condition” project represents a DIY outlet for the artist.

“The music I’m making now is music I’ve always made, I’ve just never been able to release it on a label,” Gordon told Billboard of “Doleo” last July. “I was growing into this person I am now, and I had to make the music that felt right and was passionate about. I didn’t feel like I was singing everything I wanted to sing, doing dance music and pop music. I wanted to make something that felt real to me. These EPs include every genre of music I like. I really just felt like I had to by myself.”
“Doleo” was composed of eight tracks, including “Stimela,” which Billboard also premiered last summer. Check out the official video below:
Along with the “Sanguine” EP release, Jan. 15 will bring Gordon to Pianos in New York for a celebratory performance. Gordon previously performed at Santos Party House in NYC last July upon the “Doleo” release.
