A Queens, N.Y., woman has filed a lawsuit against hip-hop mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs for $5 million, claiming a bouncer at his Manhattan restaurant, Justin’s, threw her to the ground and dragged her on the pavement.
Stephanie Grieson, 35, said that as she stood outside the restaurant on Aug. 22, 2002, an argument with a friend became physical. The bouncer then grabbed her by the neck and dragged her down the sidewalk while saying: “No fighting in front of this restaurant,” the New York Post reported today (Aug. 26).
Grieson was left with wounds on both her knees, which remained swollen for days. She still has scars on her legs and ankles. The lawsuit was filed in Queens Supreme Court, where the woman lives and seeks damages to cover lost wages, medical bills, pain and suffering and future plastic surgery.
Combs was also the subject of a $25 million lawsuit earlier this month by two men claiming a security team at the rap mogul’s recording studio attacked them for no reason.Copyright 2003 Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
