It hasn’t been all fun and music at Lollapalooza. A 25-year-old woman riding her bike home from the festival died Friday when she lost her footing and was crushed by a truck.
Michigan native Jacqueline Michon was at the corner of Wacker and Wabash in downtown Chicago when witnesses say she lost her balance and fell under the rear axle of an adjacent truck. Not seeing her, the driver proceeded when the light turned green, crushing Michon before she could scurry out.

“It’s a tragic accident,” Chicago Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli told the Chicago Sun-Times.
Michon was pronounced dead on the scene and no charges have been filed.
A family friend told the newspaper that Michon, who went by Jackie on her Facebook profile, attended Lollapalooza with five friends visiting from California. After Saturday’s festivities, she rode her bike while they took the train home to her apartment.
Meanwhile, two men were hit by a car Saturday night just outside Grant Park, the site of Lollapalooza. Both are in critical condition. Officials say the accident occurred at around 8:38pm when a car struck the men as they tried to run across Lake Shore Drive.
The time of the accident came just as headliner Eminem was performing at the massive three-day festival, but Billboard.com cannot confirm the victims were leaving the concert grounds.
Chicago Fire Department spokesman Quention Curtis told NBC Chicago that the two men were rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious to critical condition. Their names have not been released. They are believed to be in their early 20s.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene following the crash and has not been charged.
