Warner Music International is beefing up its digital marketing endeavours with the creation of a new role covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
Piero Poli has been appointed digital marketing director, EMEA, with effect from June 4.
Based in London, Poli reports to Eric Daugan, WIM vice president of digital business.
“The creation of this position will bolster and broaden WMI’s innovative digital marketing efforts, enabling greater synergy between on and off line marketing and driving new promotional and revenue generating activities,” comments Daugan in a statement.
“Above all,” he adds, “the strengthening of our digital marketing team will further enhance our ability to monetise our content across the myriad of ever-developing ways that people enjoy music.”
Prior to joining WMI, Poli served as a group account director for digital consultancy Agency.com.
