“I got money, you can keep your talent/You ain’t even getting money, you just be around it,” Khalifa raps on “WTF.” Khalifa has used mixtapes like “Grow Season” and “Kush & Orange Juice” to grow his fan base, but “Cabin Fever” plays out as a thank-you to fans who helped drive “Black and Yellow,” the MC’s ode to his hometown football team the Pittsburgh Steelers, to No. 1 on the Hot 100 earlier this month. Khalifa spoke with Billboard.com about the milestone last week, saying, “It feels amazing. Everybody that makes music wants to be in this position.”
Wiz Khalifa: Topping the Hot 100 ‘Feels Amazing’
While “Black and Yellow” slips to No. 4 on this week’s Hot 100 as Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way” takes the top spot, Khalifa’s follow-up single, “Roll Up,” debuted at No. 48 on the chart. Three days after “Rolling Papers” hits stores, the MC will embark on the Green Carpet Tour, the eighth installment of the eco-friendly Campus Consciousness Tour that kicks off Apr. 1 in Raleigh, N.C.
