Are you a DJ or producer in the United States who is at least 25 years old with a dream to play Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas? Those dreams could become a reality thanks to Corona Electric Beach, Wavo, EDC and yours truly.
Billboard Dance has teamed with Insomniac Records and Corona Electric Beach in support of “Battle for the Beach,” a DJ contest hosted by music competition platform and digital music marketing tool Wavo to get a fresh fave on the EDC LV stage in 2018. You must simply meet the aforementioned requirements and submit a DJ mix between 35 and 40 minutes long — or a three to eight-minute original track — showcasing your talent, precision, and style.
The grand prize is serious: a DJ slot at the Corona Electric Beach stage at EDC Vegas, two round-trip flights for you and a friend from your U.S. home, two three-day VIP tickets for you and said friend, airport transport and three-day premiere shuttle passes to get you to and from the festival and your paid-for hotel accommodations. Oh, and you’ll be handling a social takeover via our social media accounts at Billboard Dance.
EDC Vegas comes to the desert during a new date of Friday to Sunday, May 18 to 20. This is your shot to basically skip the line and become a famous DJ — or at least, it’s your best shot at such a maneuver. Just head over to Wavo to drop off that official submission.
