Zac Brown Band’s popular Southern Ground Music & Food Festival is returning to Nashville in September for two days of Americana-infused party music and good eats.
Southern Ground, which made its Music City debut last year, will feature performances by Willie Nelson & Family, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Eli Young Band, Kacey Musgraves, The Head and the Heart, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, with additional names to be announced in coming days.
The event will also feature its now-traditional “Super Sets,” sit-in performances featuring Kenny Chesney, John Fogerty, Jason Mraz, and more.
The festivities will take place at The Lawn at Riverfront Park on Sept. 27-28.
General ticket sales open on April 27. VIP tickets may be purchased on April 24 for Zac Brown Band fan-club members and on April 25 for attendees of last year’s Southern Ground Festival. Details are still being worked out for a planned return of the Charleston, SC edition of the festival.
