Wes Scantlin has had another blurry moment. The Puddle of Mudd singer has been arrested for DUI for the second time in as many weeks.
The rocker was busted speeding early Wednesday morning in South Dakota and was found to be driving under the influence. According to TMZ, the artist was also charged with pot possession.
Wes Scantlin Opens Up on Latest Bizarre Arrest
Scantlin faced court just last month for drunken driving and fleeing police after a chase in Minnesota that reached speeds of about 100 mph. On that occasion, a preliminary breath test measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.31 percent, nearly four times the legal limit for driving.
Scantlin has a history of arrests, some of them falling into the “bizarre” category. He was arrested earlier this year for taking a joy ride on a baggage carousel at Denver International Airport and in 2013 was busted for allegedly using a buzz saw to attack a neighbor’s patio.

He was hit with domestic abuse charges in March 2002, when Puddle of Mudd was still enjoying a career highpoint with the album Come Clean. Similar charges followed in 2013. And in 2012, the singer was arrested in Texas after being removed from a cross-country flight. That time, he was charged with public intoxication.
Following his latest indiscretion, Scantlin was released on $500 bail.
