Weezer's "LA Girlz"
Weezer’s new song “LA Girlz” now has a peculiar “boy-meets-girl” video.
Rivers Cuomo and co. don’t show in the clip. Instead, we’re entertained by a “mini-me” of the veteran singer who mucks about on a Santa Monica-adjacent beach taking selfies, playing air guitar and getting bench-pressed by a body builder who comes a calling via Snapchat (this L.A. girl is not his age, a play on the song’s lyrics).
Weezer Announces New Album and Live Dates, Shares Video for ‘King of the World’
“LA Girlz” will appear on the White Album, due in April. The song premiered this week on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show and follows previous singles “Thank God for Girls,” “King of the World” and “Do You Wanna Get High?”
