Not long after spilling the beans that rapper Iggy Azalea will appear in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7 film, an amusing video has surfaced of the action star attempting to cover Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”

As seen in the clip below, Diesel, who’s in the middle of an interview with Capital FM to promote his new film Guardians of the Galaxy, is wearing dark shades and a v-neck shirt as he reads the song’s lyrics from a laptop computer. Though the actor star has a bit of trouble hitting Smith’s high notes, the British singer shared his appreciation on Twitter.
“Vin diesel just covered Stay With Me. Surreal. Thanks man haha,” Smith wrote.
This isn’t the first time Diesel has covered a hit song. Around Valentine’s Day of last year, he posted to his Facebook page a video of himself singing along to Rihanna’s slow jam “Stay,” which he dedicated to his “amores.” Take a look below.
