Jack White Offered to Produce The Libertines Reunion Album
The crisp blue-hued video, which features members of White’s backing band lounging in booths while the dapper-looking singer sits alone at the bar avoiding eye contact with a woman, was directed by Robert Hales and filmed at Denver’s Cruise Room, located in the Oxford Hotel. Check out the video below.
Written by Hales and White, the video for “Would You Fight for My Love?” “was conceptualized, produced and shot within a 24 hour period. The six-hour shoot came together on less than 12 hours notice,” according to a news release. The new video offers a much moodier vibe than White’s chaotic black-and-white video for the Lazaretto title track.
Jack White’s ‘Lazaretto’ Debuts at No. 1, Sets Vinyl Sales Record
In June, White claimed his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Lazaretto. The set, released on his Third Man Records label through Columbia, also set the record for the largest sales week for a vinyl album since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.
White is currently touring behind Lazaretto in North America, and will head to Europe and the United Kingdom in November.
