Hozier is forging a status as a young force of nature. His appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live won’t hurt his growing reputation.
The Irish singer and songwriter (real name Andrew Hozier-Byrne) was the musical guest on the late-night talk show where he performed a pair of singles, “Someone New” and “Work Song,” which are both lifted from his debut self-titled album from 2014.

Hozier opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart with 58,000 first week sales. Since then, he’s performed at the Grammys and the Billboard Music Awards, and he showed no rookie-nerves in front of the big crowd assembled for Kimmel’s nightly program. The screams from the audience suggest he’s got a fun ride ahead of him.
