Buckle in and hold on tight, the Fate of the Furious is speeding toward a release date.
F. Gary Gray, director of the Oscar-nominated N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton, helms the eighth film in the Fast and Furious franchise and first post-Paul Walker.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (Hobbs) and Vin Diesel (Dom) return for another lap with the likes of Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, Kurt Russell, while Oscar-winner Charlize Theron debuts as the “high-tech terrorist” Cipher.
The high-octane new trailer suggests all is not well between the two heroes, with Dom said to be lured into the “world of crime he can’t seem to escape.” Expect a fast ride with explosions, exotic landscapes and, of course, stunt-driving at its finest.
