Die Toten Hosen has struck a distribution contract which sees the veteran German rock band return to the Warner Music Germany fold.
With the exception of their last studio album — “Zurueck Zum Glueck” — the majority of Die Toten Hosen’s repertoire has been distributed by Warner Music. The 2004 album release will continue to be distributed by Sony/BMG until Dec. 31, 2005, after which it will shift to Warner Music.
The act’s recordings are released through the JKP label, which the band members established in the mid-1990s.
To coincide with the tenth anniversary of JKP and Warner Music’s co-operation, a raft of Die Toten Hosen CD and DVD releases are slated for release later this year.
