Following the shooting at a car stereo store yesterday (Feb. 16), for which rapper Waka Flocka Flame and three other men were questioned, his mother/manager Debra Antney has released a video explaining what took place and defending her son’s involvement in the incident.
Video: Debra Antney speaks on Waka Flocka Flame shooting
“It’s really good for you, the reporters, that are outlining all this Waka Flocka.. the news sounds better when you place his name in there instead of talking about what really happened… There were other people out there whose cars were hit… It is safe to say we took no part in this. This was somebody else that came up and did a random shooting. Were they even shooting at the bus? Who knows. The bus just happens to be out there and it happened to be Waka Flocka and it happened to be good news.”

Antney went on to say they aren’t just about “hood stuff and violence” and that they have a couple of projects in the works that the fans should pay closer attention to. She also told fans they should stay tuned to her Youtube channel Mizay TV, “where you’ll get real news and not second hand.”
