Dogg Face got to trade his board for a new set of wheels, when Ocean Spray gifted their No. 1 customer with his own cranberry red truck that came with Cran-Raspberry juice bottles in every compartment possible.
October 8, 2020 – Mick Fleetwood talks viral video with Andy Cohen
“I’ve never met him, and yet everyone and every member of that family is in across the whole planet. It seems like you know this gentleman, you know?” he said of Apodaca.
“The whole TikTok thing just seems so apropos, whether it stays like that. I don’t know, but now it’s all about just people having an instant way of expressing,” he continued. “And it just seems right across the board very, very much tied into really just free expression and having fun with it, which God knows we all need right now… So we did it, not really knowing the end result, but supporting him, we know his story and everyone is sort of on that program.”
October 9, 2020 – Mick Fleetwood thanks Apocada for giving “Dreams” a second life
The Fleetwood Mac founder crashed a Zoom interview with the social media sensation to thank him. “One, we owe you,” he told the Idaho native. “It’s such a celebration of everything. I’ve heard you talking about it, and it’s so joyous and fun.”
“I just wanna say, outside of Fleetwood Mac, we owe you,” he continued. “It’s such a great story, and it’s so needed. In days that are really challenging…it makes people smile, and I’m so happy to be part of it. Congratulations on a wild, wild skateboard journey that has led us to talking today. I hope Stevie’s watching. She’s going to be overjoyed.”
October 12, 2020 – Apocada celebrates Lakers win with a new soundtrack
After the Los Angeles Lakers championship win, a clip was posted to @FollowThroughLA’s Twitter account, in which Dogg Face is seen cruising down the road at golden hour, with a Lakers jersey on. While similar to his original, the new video switches out the cranberry juice for some celebratory Chardonnay and “Dreams” is fittingly replaced by Queen‘s “We Are the Champions.”

“Afternoon vibe. Lace ’em up!” she captioned the clip, and added the hashtags #Dreams, #FleetwoodMac and #CranberryDreams.

October 24, 2020 – Saturday Night Live
During the Weekend Update, Melissa Villaseñor discussed what she got up to alone in quarantine. “I also got pretty creative,” she explained, “I remember I saw that TikTok of that guy skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac, so I thought I’d recreate it myself, you know? But instead of cranberry juice I was holding my cat Ella.”
“So I’m skateboarding, holding Ella and singing to her,” Villaseñor continued, before delving into a spot-on Stevie Nicks impression. “Now, here you purr again / You say you want your dinner / Wait, I don’t know how to skateboard / I’m falling down into a creek, oh no, I peed again.”
October 26, 2020 – Nicks is “tickled pink” at young people rediscovering Fleetwood Mac
“If the young kids start listening to Fleetwood Mac, start with the first album and just go through them. Sit down and be in it for the long run, and you’ll have the best time,” she told Billboard.
“We all do silly, creative dumb things that we never think anybody is going to care about, and the fact that [this TikTok user] just reached out to the entire world with his 10-second ride… his life will never be the same,” she said, comparing Apodaca’s fame to her own unexpected early-’70s breakthrough. “In a strange way, it’s kind of like when Lindsey and I joined [the band] and we had no money — and I do mean no money — and within eight months, together we were almost a millionaire.”
