With a performance that included “Get Right,” “Jenny from the Block” and her “Love?” hit “On the Floor,” Jennifer Lopez continued a sterling 2011 at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, which featured performances by Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Bruno Mars, among others. On Saturday night (Sept. 24), Lopez was also surrounded by her “American Idol” co-stars — Steven Tyler performed with Randy Jackson as a special guest guitarist, and Ryan Seacrest served as an emcee — and she couldn’t have been happier to hang with her new “family” from the show.
“I love it,” Lopez told Billboard.com an hour after performing. “They’ve become like my brothers, and we all really support each other and look out for each other.”

“Idol” is slated to return in January, marking Lopez’s second season as a judge alongside Tyler and Jackson. The biggest change this time around? J. Lo says that, after such a great season last year, the competition can only get tougher.
“Everything we’re doing — because we already started auditioning and stuff like that — it’s just that we’re trying to make it better,” she says. “Watching the singers, we’re like, ‘Are they as good as our Top 24 from last year? I don’t know!’ So our standards are even higher than last year in a crazy way. So we’ll see — I think it’s gonna be a great season.”
