Amos Lee has had a big year, with an album hitting No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and a number of tours that saw him performing alongside Calexico and Adele and at major festivals like Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo. After his panel titled Road Cases: Artist Development Featuring Amos Lee, he stopped to talk about his past year and some of his plans for the future.

Additionally, Lee talked about his connection with fans, how much it means for him for his fans to know his songs, and how his career has changed him into more of an editor than ever before when it comes to his songwriting. “I want to make sure everything I put out is quality, and I want to make sure everything I put out feels good to me,” he said. “That’s kind of where I think I’ve put myself as an artist, so I have the capacity to do that.”
