Although things haven’t quite been figured out with the political and social crisis in Venezuela, the music never stops — or at least, that’s what appears to be the mindset of the many bands around the country hinting to the release of new music.
Recently, several notable music groups announced that they are working on new material, set to be released very soon.
Lebronch, the alternative rock group from Caracas, is expected to be releasing two singles, “Fire” and “Black Mamba,” in an upcoming album. While we haven’t heard anything just yet, the group’s recent Instagram post, using hashtags such as #backagain, gives hope to the speculations surrounding the release of a new and upcoming album over the next few months.
And, while we haven’t heard anything since 2013 from rock group Holy Sexy Bastards — always at the center of many parties and prominent festivals — a recent Instagram post hints to some news that the group will be making a comeback. The group recently posted a view of Toronto on Instagram, with a caption announcing the scheduled release of new music by the spring of next year.
This is all quite some news from bands that appear to be finding a way to continue releasing material, despite what Venezuela is currently facing.
There is no surprise that the political and social circumstances could very well be serving as an inspiration behind the release of new music that, for now is just taking place within the studio, but will soon appear on radio stations in Latin America.
