Senses Fail, Dropkick Murphys, Something Corporate and Atreyu have joined the lineup for the 11th annual Vans Warped tour. They join previously announced performers the Offspring, the Transplants and My Chemical Romance. About 60 acts in total will be performing throughout the trek.
Dates and venues have not been confirmed. An Internet pre-sale will begin March 15.
A number of new attractions will be part of the tour this year. Vans and Lost Energy Drink will present a daily Skate Jam contest for 20 local skaters, with cash prizes. Also, one band at each tour stop will also play 10 minutes longer via “Energizer Keeps the Music Going.” Each act will be picked in advance through voting at Warpedtour.com.
Sponsors for the event include Samsung, Cingular Wireless, Fuse, Wrigley’s Winterfresh, AOL, Hot Topic, Hansen’s Sodas, MySpace.com, Hurley, the Army, Circuit City, MasterCard and Hurley.
