United Talent Agency has locked in a deal with General Motors as the automaker’s new branded entertainment agency, it was announced Thursday (Dec. 14).
UTA’s marketing division will spearhead the work managing GM’s branded entertainment initiatives, adding the company to its roster of clients that already includes Amazon, Delta Air Lines, LinkedIn, Lyft and others. Division co-heads David Anderson and Julian Jacobs will lead the team.
“We are fortunate and privileged to be working with one of the world’s most iconic brands at such a watershed moment,” said UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer in a statement. “Under the guidance of [CEO] Mary Barra and her team, GM is demonstrating innovative leadership, and we love the challenge of working in partnership with them to drive that innovation within the entertainment industry.”
