Keith Urban’s first live DVD, “Livin’ Right Now,” will be released Sept. 27 via Capitol Nashville. It is drawn from a two-night stand last year at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre and features such country hits as “Days Go By,” “Making Memories of Us,” “Somebody Like You” and “What Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” in addition to soundcheck performances of “You’re Not Alone Tonight,” “Don’t Shut Me Out” and “Homespun Love.”
The DVD is further highlighted by a cover of Billy Thorpe’s “Most People I Know (Think That I’m Crazy),” which is also appearing in Gap’s fall ad campaign.
With purchase of “Livin’ Right Now,” members of Urban’s Monkeyville fan club will earn a “passport stamp” that can eventually be redeemed for special contests, concert tickets and merchandise.
Urban will return to the road Sept. 9 in Boise, Idaho., and later this fall hit Europe for a 10-day trek that runs through Oct. 22 in Munich. The artist’s latest studio album, “Be Here,” has sold 1.6 million copies in the United States since its 2004 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Meanwhile, Urban will also be on hand Sept. 7 in New York to announce the nominees for the 39th annual CMA Awards, which will be handed out Nov. 15 in New York.
