The Univision network is in the pre-production stages of a new reality, music-themed TV show. “Viva el Sueño” (Live the Dream), is slated to be a 13-week competition that showcases talented, by struggling Latin performers who have recording contracts but need a big break to become major stars.
The contestants, which have not been selected yet, will include artists based in and outside the United States who have yet to break in the U.S. market. The series will air in the Untied States and Puerto Rico and judges will include well-known industry experts. Viewers will ultimately vote and chose the winners.
No information is yet available on how contestants will be chosen. Univision just finished airing the third season of its successful “Nuestra Belleza,” a beauty competition and reality show.
