The final round of artists have been added to the EDM-centric Ultra Music Festival, which hits downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park over the weekends of March 15-17 and March 22-24.
In the third wave of fest additions, Ultra announced artists like Marco Bailey, Christian Smith, DJ Marky, and Mark Knight for its first weekend. Artists on tap for weekend number two include Funkagenda and Wally Lopez.
Back in January, Ultra announced its first phase of artists. The list included electronic dance music giants like deadmau5, Tiësto, David Guetta, were confirmed for both weekends. The second helping was highlighted by Skrillex, via his side project Dog Blood. For many EDM fans, the weekend’s most anticipated set belongs to Swedish House Mafia, who will be playing the final date of their “One Last Tour” at Ultra.
Ultra also has a diverse set of non-EDM acts on display, including Snoop Lion, Crystal Castles, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells. Fest organizers Adam Russakoff and Russell Faibisch recently discussed the eclectic picks with Billboard.Biz.
