U2 has confirmed the track list for its new compilation, “U218 Singles,” due Nov. 21 via Interscope. Beyond the previously announced new songs “The Saints Are Coming” with Green Day and “Window in the Skies,” the non-chronological set runs the gamut from “New Year’s Day” through to “Vertigo” and “Sometimes You Can’t Make It on Your Own.”
A limited edition of the album will include a 10-song live bonus disc from a 2005 show in Milan. Also due on Nov. 20 is a DVD collecting videos for the tracks from “U218 Singles.”
Among the big U2 hits not featured on the retrospective are “I Will Follow,” “Angel of Harlem,” “Even Better Than the Real Thing,” “Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses” and “Discotheque.”
U2 will resume its Vertigo tour Tuesday (Nov. 7) in Brisbane, Australia. As previously reported, a 3-D concert film chronicling Vertigo is expected to hit theaters in late 2007.
