Alright, so U2 and Apple Music may have found what fans are lookin’ for.
U2’s ‘Boy’ at 35: Classic Track-by-Track Album Review
The band and brand came together to launch The Experience Bus this weekend on their O2 Arena tour stop in London. Fans were invited to board the bus, sport virtual reality goggles (not completely unlike Bono’s signature shades), and immerse themselves in a U2 performance of “Song for Someone” on an e-stage. Fans — who were invited to submit videos of themselves singing the song several months ago — are featured in the virtual reality video.
Passengers can get a snapshot of themselves wearing the goggles at U2TEB.com.
For those that want to give the experience a test drive, the bus will be at a few of the remaining stops on the Innocence + Experience Tour — specifically all four of the Paris shows and the last two Dublin gigs, according to @U2.
