Hollywood turned out in a big way for U2’s six-night stand in Los Angeles, which kicked off May 26 with the first of five shows at the Forum and landed on the Sunset Strip for one night at the Roxy on May 28.
Among the famous faces to dot the crowd were stars of film (Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Judd Apatow), television (Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul, Rashida Jones, Kris and Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Jimmy Kimmel) and, of course, music (Kanye West, Beck, John Mayer, Bruno Mars, Robert Plant and many more.)

It was also date night for several celebrity couples, including George and Amal Clooney, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber,Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin were also spotted at the official U2 afterparty, held at the Chateau Marmont, while Charlize Theron and Sean Penn made the Forum rounds, albeit on different nights.
Most of the stars were seated in sections 109 and 110, with easy access to the Forum club. It was there that Shelli Azoff, wife of Irving Azoff, CEO of Azoff MSG Entertainment, who shepherded the Forum’s $100 million 2013 renovation, celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, June 3, the last night of the Forum run.
