Two women who attended this weekend’s Hard Summer Music Festival in Pomona, Calif., have died of suspected overdoses, KTLA5 reports.
The attendees, ages 18 and 19, were taken to a hospital Saturday, Aug. 1, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County coroner’s office told KTLA. The coroner’s office was told Sunday morning that the two women had died.
The festival, which was sold out, continues Sunday at the Fairplex in Pomona. Saturday’s headliner was The Weeknd.
This follows a 19-year-old woman having died of a suspected overdose at last year’s Hard Summer event in South El Monte, Calif.
A rep for Hard Summer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
