Two new songs off of Britney Spears‘ ninth studio album, Glory, were allegedly leaked Wednesday morning (August 10) on streaming site Daily New Jams.
Britney Spears’ ‘Clumsy’ Is Coming This Week
The first song leaked was a short snippet (35 seconds), of an alleged track called “Just Love Me”, which has a low-key dance vibe similar to that of Jack U and Justin Bieber’s “Sorry.”
The second was a full length recording (2:57) of what sounds to be a rough cut of her track, “Clumsy.” It’s a classic Britney pop song, including light drops prime for clubs and rollicking hooks of Spears chanting the title. The bridge lends itself to some of Spears’s past lyrics, singing, “Call me a fool/ Call me insane/ But don’t call it a thing/ Closer to you/ Closer to pain/ It’s better than far away” and ending with the repetitive chanting of the “clumsy” hook.
