Update: On May 1, Live Nation announced the venues for the US stops for TWICE’s 2019 Twicelights world tour. Tickets for the three shows will go on sale on May 10.
It’s only April, and TWICE has already made touring history. And it seems like the K-pop girl group is going to keep making 2019 their year.
On Sunday (April 7), the nonet announced not only the release date and name of their upcoming album, Fancy You, but also shared the dates for their upcoming world tour. Both announcements were made through TWICE’s official social media accounts.
Fancy You will be TWICE’s seventh Korean EP since they got their start in 2015 with The Story Begins, and will be fronted by the single “Fancy.” The group teased the album and single through a series of ‘70s and ‘80s psychedelic-inspired photo teasers.
The world tour, which follows their recent sold-out Japanese dome Dreamday concert series, will launch in Seoul on May 25 and 26, then take the nine-member act to Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark, Chicago, and Kuala Lumpur between June and August.
