Twicetagram, a social-media-inspired album, will be released Oct. 30 in South Korea, rounding out a highly competitive month for the Korean music world. The album will be fronted by a new single titled “Likey,” the act’s third single of the year following “Knock Knock” and “Signal.”
Accompanying the news, TWICE dropped a short teaser trailer on Monday (Oct. 16) that hinted to the song’s propulsive sound and featured the nine members of the band encountering Instagram-esque hearts in their daily life, bringing the “Likes” of social media offline.
The new album will be TWICE’s first full-length since the girl group debuted in 2015 after being hand-picked through a televised competition program. Ever since, each of the group’s singles have become major hits in the K-pop world. They became the highest ranking female K-pop act in 2017 to appear on the Heatseekers chart with Signal in May, with the album peaking at No. 11.
