* Comedy Central will roast Willie Nelson as part of the cable channel’s recurring special that lovingly taunts the rich and famous — previous “victims” have included Flavor Flav, Pamela Anderson and William Shatner. The “Comedy Central Roast of Willie Nelson” will be taped April 17 and air in early June. “Willie Nelson is the original outlaw who has blazed the way for so many in the music and entertainment industry,” says Elizabeth Porter, senior VP, specials and talent for Comedy Central. “We are honored to celebrate Willie’s 75th birthday with a night of smoking hot comedy.” Ahem.
*Speaking of Flav, he’ll star in the sitcom “Under One Roof” on News Corp.’s MyNetworkTV. Flav plays ex-con Calvester Hill, who moves in with his wealthy brother and wreaks havoc on his conservative family. C To The B Productions and Qtopia Entertainment will produce. “I want to thank MyNetworkTV for believing in your boy because we are about to blow this out of the water,” Flav says.
*Pat Benatar and her husband, guitarist Neil “Spyder” Giraldo, will appear on two episodes of the CBS daytime drama “The Young and the Restless” on Feb. 14 and 15th. The duo will perform “Every Time I Fall Back” as part of a plotline that leads to Nia Peeples’s character performing “For All Time,” a song that written specifically for the soap by the show’s music composers, Jack Allocco and David Kurtz.
