If you were a big fan of the Trump notes-turned-Ramones song, you’re in luck. Another version of the President’s handwritten notes on the impeachment hearing has emerged on the Internet, this time in the style of Morrissey.
It all started back on Wednesday (Nov. 20) when the ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland testified before the Senate Intel Committee during the ongoing impeachment hearing. Trump held a press conference outside the White House denying Sondland’s testimony, but his scribbled notes caught on camera spread like wildfire on Twitter.
“I WANT NOTHING. I WANT NOTHING. I WANT NO QUID PRO QUO,” the notes read in all caps. “TELL ZELLINSKY TO DO THE RIGHT THING. THIS IS THE FINAL WORD FROM THE PRES OF THE U.S.”
Flash forward to Thursday (Nov. 21), when comedian Patton Oswalt tweeted the picture with the caption, “Morrissey voice.” Fans quickly jumped to the challenge, and user BenJamminAsh completely nailed it.
