U.K. alternative and hip-hop artist Tricky will re-release his debut album “Maxinquaye” as a two-disc deluxe edition in the U.K. on Nov. 2 through Universal Island.
The set will include a re-mastered version of the original album, a second disc of various mixes (including some never before released) and extensive sleeve-notes.
“Maxinquaye” was originally released in Feb. 1995 on Island Records to critical acclaim. It received a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize and was named the NME’s album of the year.
Tricky released his eighth studio album and first on Domino Records, “Knowle West Boy,” in July 2008.
