Electronic pioneer Tricky will release his eighth album, “Knowle West Boy,” on Domino Records on Sept. 9 in the United States and July 7 in the U.K.
First single “Council Estate” will be released this summer, a teaser for which is available on the record’s official Web site, www.knowlewestboy.com, which allows users to download its separate components and submit their own remixes.
“Knowle West Boy,” the artist’s first record since 2003’s “Vulnerable,” was produced by Tricky, with additional help from Switch. The record is said to deal with growing up in the Brixton neighborhood that lent the record its name.
