Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will team up yet again on a film score — this time, David Fincher’s newest movie, “Gone Girl.”
The duo, which first collaborated on 2011’s “The Social Network” score, will work together on the 2014 film, which is set to star Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike and is based off the 2012 novel of the same name from Gillian Flynn.
Reznor shared the news on Twitter Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 21).

The Nine Inch Nails frontman won an Academy Award for Best Original Score with Ross for their work on Fincher’s “The Social Network.” They later teamed up again with the score for “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” another Fincher film, which earned the duo a win at the GRAMMYs for Best Original Score for Visual Media.
“Gone Girl” is scheduled to hit theaters Oct. 3.
