— Austin, Texas-based Rozone Productions has been named the exclusive facility promotion and production team for Sturgis, S.D.’s Glencoe Amphitheater, home to the annual Sturgis Bike Week. In its new role, Rozone Productions will recruit talent, produce and promote concerts at the amphitheater. “We plan to push Glencoe into the national spotlight by creating year-round, unrivaled lineups in a beautiful setting,” said Rozone Productions CEO David Rosen. Upcoming concerts at the venue will be announced in the near future.
— Nortec Collective members Bostich and Fussible, Grupo Fantasma, Vallejo, Charanga Cakewalk, Girl In A Coma and Manejo Beto, among others, will perform at the inaugural Pachanga Latino Music Festival, to be held May 31 at Waterloo Park in Austin, Texas. The one-day festival will feature more than 20 acts from Texas, California, New York and Latin America. The event coincides with Austin’s Latino Music Month, and will showcase art from Latino artists, as well as social/political activist booths. Alex Vallejo (also a member of music act Vallejo) and Rich Garza are producing the first Pachanga Latino Music Festival.
