Tori Kelly is bringing her latest studio album Inspired by True Events to real life as the songstress announced the accompanying tour today (Oct. 21). Kelly will first hit the road for the Inspired by True Events Tour Jan. 28 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. Audrey MiKa will also be touring with her.
“Playing these songs live is a reminder that everyone goes through these sorts of things, and we all need to know that we’re not alone,” Kelly said in a press release. “If I were to put out an album that didn’t talk about these personal stories, I would just be faking it and hiding from the truth. It turns out that the uncomfortable place was the most honest and true. It was right where I needed to be, and from there I could tell my story.”
The deeply personal album will get the live treatment from late January to early March during the North American leg of her tour, produced by Live Nation. Her European leg will continue throughout March. Members of Kelly’s fan club will have access to presale tickets tomorrow, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. local time, and the general public sale will begin Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets can be purchased here.
Citi cardmembers will also have presale access tomorrow at 10 a.m., which can be found here. For even more special admittance, CID Entertainment is offering two deluxe concert packages for fans, both of which include access to soundcheck, limited edition merchandise and either a personal or group photo with Kelly along with the ticket. Presale and general public sale time and dates still apply to the CID Entertainment bundles.
