Tooth & Nail and its Solid State Records imprint have signed a distribution deal with RED Distribution. The first new release through RED will be the third studio album from The Almost, Fear Inside Our Bones, out June 11 on Tooth & Nail Records.

“The addition of the Tooth & Nail/Solid State family further strengthens RED’s already storied hard rock music business, and provides us with an even stronger foothold for achievement moving forward,” RED president Bob Morelli said in a statement about the Christian rock and punk label which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The deal comes on the heels of the label’s departure in March from the EMI Christian Music Group, which had previously owned a 50% stake in the company. In making that move, label founder Brandon Ebel sold off most of his catalog to EMI and in turn left with his current roster, as well as the Tooth & Nail, Solid State and BEC Recording brands.
As part of the deal with RED, Tooth & Nail will be tapping the capabilities of RED’s radio promotion team and the ‘stache marketing division to help market its records, which will also include releases from August Burns Red, the Letter Black, Icon For Hire and Emery.
