The playful video matches the song’s animal-inspired lyrics, which describe a puppy love confessional. The five members of TXT sing the purr and bark-filled track as they laze around and perform frisky choreography that emulates the titular animals. The video ends with the five members coming together on the beach, and they play around with some adorable animals.
Following the release of TXT’s latest video, the term “Cat And Dog” trended worldwide on Twitter.
“Cat & Dog” is TXT’s second song to receive a music video, following their debut single “Crown,” also released in March.
The group, which is the first act put together by Big Hit Entertainment since BTS got their start in 2013, will be holding their first U.S. showcase tour next month. Beginning May 9, they will hit up New York City, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles before the month ends.
