After incubating his personal party concept in Las Vegas and Miami, Tommy Trash has taken Trashed on the road.
The long-locked Australian artist has been channeling his show’s informal house party vibe on an 11-date North American tour, offering up a diverse musical menu with close friends Henry Fong and Wax Motif as support.
“I didn’t want to put together a bill of DJs who just play the same records,” Trash said. “I wanted a lineup that would give the crowds a real blend of complementary styles. You can hear that in the mix that we’ve made for Billboard. It gives you a taste of a Trashed night, with elements from each of our sets in there.”
Listen to Tommy’s back-to-back-to-back mix with his Trashed tourmates exclusively on Billboard:
Trash said the energy at the first four tour dates has been “insane,” citing the range of personalities and styles that the three artists bring to the table.
“I’ve toured extensively around the U.S., both with other artists like Tiësto and on my own, but this was a real opportunity to put Trashed on the map and create the parties that I wanna go to and that I think people will love,” Trash said. “Being able to really curate the lineup with acts that I love and really create the atmosphere that people can savor has been amazing.”
