Petty has a track record of delivering the goods onstage for more than three decades. A new album, “Mojo,” and Live Nation backing will juice sales, but the debut single isn’t attracting the kind of attention that ignites the box office.
Outlook: While there has been talk that sales were slugglish out of the gate, and some of the tour has been rerouted, Petty is consistently strong at the box office and should end up at better than 75% of capacity as buzz builds.
