English singer-songwriter Tom Odell was featured as the musical guest on Tuesday’s episode of Late Night With Seth Myers. The 27-year-old performed his song “If You Wanna Love Somebody.” Sitting at a piano before an eight-member choir, the energy-charged Odell sang about honesty and self-reflection.
“If You Wanna Love Somebody” is the first single from Odell’s upcoming album, Jubilee Road. The ongoing Jubilee Road Tour recently added 2019 European dates.
Fans of the singer, who made a name for himself with emotionally fraught ballads, already knew what to expect from Tuesday’d performance. Odell’s songs “Cant Pretend” and “Long Way Down” were appropriately featured on the soundtrack of the tragic, romantic film The Fault in Our Stars.
